Ok, so back in the time of Sumerians, I'm sure their Ziggurat's were not quite so messy. But they also didn't make them out of peanut butter and sugar cubes! (And they SURE didn't sneak a few bites in the process either!) I LOVE our history curriculum!
Hello!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Bryan Zygmont and I am a professor of Art History at Clarke University, a small liberal-arts college in Dubuque, IA. One of my goals this summer is to totally redo my PowerPoints for my Survey of Western Art class, and I am this day working on Ancient Near East stuff. When finding images for the Ziggurat at Ur I came across this image, and wanted to know if you would mind if I use it in class (as a still somewhat young person, I'm generally looking for fun stuff to hit the students with). May I have your blessing to show it in class? I would be most delighted.
Thanks; please respond to my email at bryan.zygmont@clarke.edu
Best regards,
Bryan
